Sands Expo and Convention Center Loses Its Sign

It’s not the most earth-shattering news, but that’s never stopped us before.

We caught the Sands Expo and Convention Center with its sign down.

"Cherry-picker" is a misnomer. They almost never pick cherries.

We’re thinking another sign will be going up in its place. We hope there’s neon.

The Sands Expo and Convention Center is next door to the Palazzo Hotel and Casino, emphasis on “casino,” and has 2.25 million feet of convention space. That’s not a typo, and yes, that’s a lot of feet.
