Why in the world would they move their premier restaurant from a spot that has a spectacular view of the Las Vegas strip, as well as nicely appointed private bathrooms, to an area downstairs with no view and no bathrooms? The food and beverage people at the Suncoast have made many ridiculous decisions since the pandemic, but this one is the worst. How about simply renaming SCPrime William B’s? Nah, too easy….As for the notion of using the space for private gatherings… get real, Suncoast already has several private rooms available. Ridiculous.

What are they going to do with SC Prime space on the second floor? Secondly, Scott it may be your opinion that people complained “way too much” about the closing of the buffets. It seems strange to me that both the Boyd and Red Rock companies choose to close their buffets at the same time. Of course, they used the pandemic as an excuse. But none opened back up. Wouldn’t you think that an operating decision like that which caused so many complaints that the Vice Chairman had to retire, has merit? Having tired food courts that charge an arm and a leg for fast food is not an acceptable substitute.

well i saw the sign and was so surprised, guessing where it would be, etc. etc. and then thought not having 2 steak house places, wonder what is going on.. Now I know. I like upstairs, nice view, kinda cozy. Went there fairly often. So surprised but good luck. Great space for an event is where the SC was.

We always loved SC Prime Steakhouse (hidden gem in Summerlin) and will definitely try William B’s when it will open in November, can’t wait!

In reply to Mark. The first year I worked at the Stardust 2002 they gave employees a $50 gift card to William B's as a Christmas gift. They had tiger prawns the size of a grapefruit! Several years later at Bellagio I got a cheap folding chair that said "team bellagio" on the back and now days you're lucky if a casino even acknowledges you work for them.
