We stayed here a few months back and it was disgusting. They may be trying to renovate the public exterior, but the rooms, hallways, and elevators were awful enough that we forfeited our reservation and checked in elsewhere. Holes in the walls, all elevators in our tower broken except one, room had a heavy layer of grime. Future isn’t looking too bright for them.

It seems pretty clear Caesars has no clue whatsoever what they are doing with this property. We all welcome the remodel after the hell that was IP/Quad, but the 70’s paint scheme and forced “funky” look have been done to death lately. Funky does not equal destination. Due to the golden location they’ll obviously keep sinking money into this thing until something sticks or Caesars goes belly up, but if they’re naming a resort after a retail alley it’s a poor start.

And here I was thinking that they came up with the color scheme by having a few hundred of those paint color chips from the hardware store laid out haphazardly on the table to brainstorm the best color to represent Linq, when some random higher-up poked his head in the room, looked at the mess, and said “I like it! Let’s go with that!”
